The first game against Auburn was a nail-biter; even though we lost by only one point, we fought hard in that game. Instead of letting the close loss slow them down, the Woolies bounced back stronger than ever in their next matchup, dominating the court to secure an impressive 11-point victory over Nipmuc. Every single game this season reflects the relentless work ethic of the team.
During practices and games alike, athletes and partners push each other to improve every single time, cheering for every single basket and defensive play. That shared commitment comes directly from the leadership on the sidelines. Coaches Miss Morin and Mr. Donnelly bring unmatched dedication, patience, and encouragement to every practice. They don’t just teach how to play basketball, but they teach teamwork and how to treat others with respect—and that goes a long way.
Overall, with amazing coaches, Unified Basketball at Millbury will win a lot of games. Unified Basketball is something that means a lot to these athletes, the helpers, and coaches.
