Cross Country

The MHS cross country team is off to a very hot start this season, starting undefeated and coming out on top of the last CMAC championship, but even with this great start, the cross country team is nowhere close to done yet, and right now, the team is preparing to take on the yearly regional meet on October 29th.
I talked to some of the leaders on the team, Tony Bennes and Doug Batista. Both of them talked about the chemistry this team has and how fellow teammates Devin Armstrong and Cam Brunell are putting on unbelievable and top performances every single day, no matter what. They also said that the whole team is locked in and ready to go for this regional meet in a few weeks and are working hard every day in practice to get stronger and faster and be ready for the meet.
It has been a very exciting season so far for this team, and there is still much more excitement to come this year.
